This policy covers the Twerk Dance game on iOS, Android, and the web (twerkdance.fun / play.twerkdance.fun), together called "the Game".
The short version
We don't collect personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no crash reporting. The Game is sold as a paid store purchase only (not an in-app purchase inside the app). The mobile apps are not designed to send your personal data to our servers.
Information we collect
None. We don't ask for, collect, store, or receive your name, email, contacts, location, photos, device identifiers, advertising IDs, or gameplay data.
The age check
When you first open the Game, it asks for your birth month and year so we can confirm you're 13 or older. Only a pass or fail result is saved, and only on your device (in the app's local storage, or in your browser's local storage and IndexedDB on the web). Your birth date isn't saved, and the result is never sent to us or anyone else. Clearing the app's data or your browser's site data deletes it.
Playing on the web
When you load the Game at twerkdance.fun or play.twerkdance.fun, your browser requests the game files from our website host (including GitHub Pages for the browser play build). Like any website, that request includes technical information such as your IP address. Server access logging is turned off, or, where the host needs it for security and operations, logs are kept for no more than 7 days with IP addresses anonymized. We don't use these logs to identify, profile, or track anyone. The web version uses no cookies, analytics, or tracking pixels.
App stores
If you download or buy the Game from the Apple App Store, Google Play, the Amazon Appstore, or Epic Games Store, the store may collect information under its own privacy policy, for example for downloads and payments. We don't receive personal information about you from those stores.
Sharing and selling
We don't sell or share personal information, including for targeted advertising, because we don't collect any. We use no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Children
The Game is meant for players aged 13 and older and isn't directed to children under 13. Players under 13 are blocked by the age check. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example, by writing to us), contact us at the address below and we'll delete it.
If you contact us
If you write to us by mail about privacy, we'll use your letter only to respond and will keep it only as long as needed to handle the request, unless the law requires longer retention.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, California, other U.S. states, the EU/EEA, or the UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the use of your personal information. Because the Game doesn't collect personal information, we usually won't hold any data about you. You can still contact us at the address below with any request, and we'll respond as the law requires. EU/UK residents may also complain to their local data protection authority.
Security
Because we keep no personal data, there's very little to protect. Mail we receive is handled with reasonable care.
Changes
If we change how the Game handles information, we'll update this policy and the effective date before the change takes effect. We'll also update the App Store, Google Play, and other store privacy disclosures. If we ever start collecting personal information, we'll explain what and why here first, and get consent where the law requires it.
